They are further divided into several categories such as; ground squirrels, marmots, tree squirrels, prairie dogs, flying squirrels and chipmunks. It is found that there are more than two hundred species of squirrels present all around the globe. Squirrels are mostly found to be cute little creatures that are loved by humans. People enjoy seeing them doing shenanigans with their fellow squirrels moreover; their big eyes and furry body also make humans attracted to them. Squirrels may build their homes in trees, they also live on land.

Diets of squirrels:

Squirrels can eat plants or meat both, as they are omnivores. When it comes to their eatings, there is a wide variety of food that they can eat.
